Their face, their smile, their way of standing.
Every portrait begins with a single photograph. Our designer sculpts the likeness in digital clay, then every detail is refined and painted by hand in our Toronto studio — skin, hair, clothing, the colours you remember.
The sculpture stands about 20 cm (8 in) tall. Each piece comes with a numbered, signed Certificate of Authenticity that you can verify online.

Questions families ask
How are the ashes kept inside?
The ashes are placed in a sealed memorial bag, inside a simple inner box that closes with a sliding lid secured by magnets or screws, depending on the design. The inner box then rests inside the chest.
Who places the ashes?
The family places the ashes, or asks their funeral home to help. We include simple instructions.
Will all of the ashes fit?
The standard chest holds about 4 litres — enough for an adult up to about 100 kg (220 lb). We can make it larger or smaller.
What if the photo isn’t perfect?
Send what you have. Several photos from different angles help, and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
